The VT Women’s Center is offering t-shirt making workshops free of charge today through Friday from 9 to 4:30 for all who want to share their or a loved one’s story. Break The Silence.

BLACKSBURG EN BLANC is RETURNING!

Some of you may remember the annual Blacksburg en Blanc picnic that The Artful Lawyer, A Fine Gallery Inc. first hosted in August 2014. A few days later, The Blacksburg Museum & Cultural Center opened its newly renovated doors. The gallery and museum had many partnerships along the way as well, so it is only fitting that we celebrate the museum’s 10-year anniversary with a relaunch of this fun event!

The concept is simple and will be the same as in years past: We provide the tent, lighting, tables, tablecloths, chairs and a few table decorations. We will also have music entertainment and quite possibly a silent auction. You provide your food just as if you were going on a picnic - food, drinks, cutlery, napkins, etc.

We hope to see as many people as possible from the picnic’s early days and to introduce new people to what we hope will be an annual event.

The 2024 Virginia Tech Football Season schedule has been PUBLISHED and that means it’s time to plan for your tailgating and parking needs!

Football parking is one of our annual fundraisers that allows our museum to thrive, and we are happy to again offer limited season parking space passes for the 2024 Virginia Tech Football Season.

Our 2023 season pass holders have first dibs on their spaces from last year until May 3, but there are several spaces open now in the Lower Municipal Lot. Visit https://blacksburgmuseum.org/football-parking/ for options!
