Tomorrow we will be hosting our annual Gospel Sing Tomorrow we will be hosting our annual Gospel Sing event at the St. Luke & Odd Fellows Hall that is completely free to the public! If you would like to see more accessible, public programming surrounding the history of the Hall, please donate during the 2026 Give Local NRV at the link below!

jukebox that used to live in the hall was a core part of the community gatherings hosted here. While the hall served as a meeting space for three fraternities, it also served as a dance hall! Help us tell this part of the halls history by donating through Give Local NRV!

We will be closed this Saturday at the Alexander B We will be closed this Saturday at the Alexander Black House so that we can attend Gospel Sing at St. Luke & Odd Fellows Hall. PLEASE NOTE that Genealogy Saturday will occur at the event, not at the Black House. We hope you can join us!

We have an Eastman Kodak No. 1 Premo Junior Model We have an Eastman Kodak No. 1 Premo Junior Model B Box Camera from the early 20th century on display for Artifact of the Week!

Did you guys know that the first accessible to the public camera was the Eastman Kodak “Brownie” designed by Frank Brownell in 1900? This type of camera was crafted with everyday folk in mind and revolutionized the way people were able to document history. The No. 1 Premo camera is similar in concept but is designed with a different film mechanism.
