What a treat to have team members from the I'm Det What a treat to have team members from the I'm Determined Center with us to present a screening of the award-winning film Pulling Threads, a story of three high schoolers who must navigate teenage life with disabilities. This touching film grapples myriad issues with sensitivity, humor, and empathy - a very fitting conclusion to our Tolerance Poster Project show as well. This apron belonged to the Robeson family of Blacksburg, VA. We are fortunate to have several Robeson artifacts in the BMCF collections. The Robeson’s were strong members of the Blacksburg community with ties Virginia Tech who ultimately left a strong impact on education in Blacksburg.

We are in the process of upgrading our collections organization system, and we are so excited to find new artifacts each week that have been donated to our collections. Stay posted to our socials to learn more about our archives!
