Come check out some material culture from New Town

Come check out some material culture from New Town! How many of you have heard of St. Luke & Odd Fellows Hall? The Hall is the last remaining building of New Town, one of the five segregated neighborhoods of Blacksburg. This Hall is BMCF’s second building and is currently undergoing restoration. But for now, if you would like to see some artifacts from the area, we will have more on display in our upcoming exhibit, Tribute to New Town: One Building, Many Stories. This exhibit will begin showing December 6th. We look forward to seeing you all!

We have some fun things to offer for the holiday season, this event among them. We are very excited to have @ashdevinemusic back for the third annual uke-led holiday string jam and will publish the rest of our events in the next couple days as they’re finalized!
